Job Description

This position will handle investigating different technologies to define the software architecture, create proof-of-concept prototypes to outline how they fit into our development, and design mission critical systems. Responsibilities also include leading the development vision and making sure everything is on track and aligned with other departments.

What We Are Looking For

Someone with a passion for researching new technologies, creating prototypes, software architecture, and setting the bar for development.

Requirements

Must have:

• Experience designing and shipping a product.
• Experience with multiple technology stacks and a deep understanding of where different technologies are to be used.
• Excellent communication, time management, and work prioritization skills.
• 5+ years in a senior or above development role.
• Deep understanding of the web and server stack.

Highly Proficient in:

• Client & server development
• Learning new technologies
• TypeScript/JavaScript
• CSS/HTML/Web APIs
• React
• NodeJS

Familiarity with (can be language agnostic)

• SPA/SSR frameworks (NextJS, Gatsby, etc.)
• Server frameworks (Express, etc.)
• Testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Mocha, etc.)
• A cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
• Component libraries
• State management libraries/frameworks
• Identity providers
• Network communication
• Localization
• Telemetry & logging
