Position Summary: The ADON is responsible for providing nursing care of residents through the direct supervision of the Nurses and STNA’s. The ADON participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing support and information about nursing services.
Job Duties:
Daily: Conduct and document a thorough assessment of each resident’s medical status upon admission and throughout the resident’s course of treatment.- Daily: Direct the development and implementation of an individualized treatment plan for each assigned resident with Unit Staff Nurse
- Daily: Implement the evaluation, treatment and documentation per guidelines of Vrable Healthcare.
- Daily: Oversee care delivered by Licensed Practical Nurses and Nursing Assistants.
- Weekly: Attend and participate in rehabilitation team conferences regarding resident progress, problems and needs.
- Daily: Update care plans with all new orders.
Currently licensed in a good standing as a RN in Ohio.- Must have long term care experience.
- PCC and Admission Processing Experience Preferred.
- Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
