Forest Ridge is seeking a friendly, outgoing candidate to fill our full-time Front Desk Team lead position! As the lead for our front desk team, you will be the expert and resource for the second, third, and weekend shift team members. In addition to maintaining knowledge on the processes and procedures of the front desk, you will model excellent customer service and responses to resident needs to ensure their highest satisfaction. Under the direction of the Resident Services Coordinator, you will support other departments such as leasing, marketing, maintenance, and dining with their clerical needs. This is a highly visible position, being the first person visitors and prospective residents engage with!
Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm; included in holiday coverage rotation, includes 2 weeks on-call per month
$19 / Hour
Front Desk Team Lead duties could include but are not limited to:
- Assists with clerical needs of facility including calendars, menus, flyers, bulletin boards, etc.
- Completes morning check-in and monitor emergency pull-cords
- Collects fees; maintain records pertaining to trips, meals & transportation.
- Maintains copy machine
- Maintains and requests office supplies.
- Enters maintenance requests into computer.
- Prepares PO’s.
- Conducts on-boarding and training of new hires as needed.
- Develops and maintains reports
- Assists with revenue processing preparation.
- Maintains documentation for residents who are leaving/returning via daily resident report.
- Operates telephone system and walkie-talkie communication systems.
- Takes inquiry calls & record information of perspective residents and/or families.
- Greets all visitors courteously, determine their needs and direct accordingly.
- Acknowledges, comprehends and supports the residents and the Resident Bill of Rights.
- Maintains confidentiality of both residents and staff.
- Complies with all local, state and federal regulations.
- Must have a genuine interest in the needs of the elderly population, understanding the problems they encounter and have patience and tact in serving their needs.
- Maintains communication with the Executive Director regarding issues with residents, families, and/or staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 2+ years’ experience in a clerical/administrative setting
- 1+ years’ experience working with the senior population preferred
