Job description
We are seeking a full-time Showroom Assistant for our Dallas, TX wholesale showroom location. This position will work closely with the Showroom Manager to ensure client needs are met, showroom standards for appearance and presentation are maintained, and relationships with new and existing designers are fostered. This position is hourly plus commission.
What you do:
- Maintains showroom standards.
- Opens and closes the showroom.
- Assists and answers questions from designers.
- Conducts outreach to new and existing designers.
- Maintains constant communication with the showroom manager.
What you bring:
- One or more years of sales and customer service experience are required.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
- Good computer skills with proficiency using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel; Syspro (ERP) experience preferred.
- Good time management and project management skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Good work ethic and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a strong team environment with a professional and positive attitude.
- Ability to travel overnight occasionally; during show market season more travel could be necessary.
