Opportunity at a Glance

This position is a Chamberlain student position with the National Career Services department that serves in a collective capacity to provide support to the National Career Services staff and Chamberlain University students at large.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Career Services Colleague with career event planning, preparation, and execution
  • Maintain student records (e.g. interviews, resumes sent, etc.) while adhering to the FERPA laws
  • Contact students to fill interview schedules provide updates, and collect necessary information
  • Post job leads and employer information for students
  • General maintenance of CareerCare website including searching for and updating content
  • Help students gain access to job data base
  • Assist Career Services Colleague with employer outreach and follow-up
  • All other duties as assigned by the Manager of Employee Outreach or Director of Career and Student Services
Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be Federal Work Study eligible.
  • Minimum 3.25 GPA.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ethical decision-making.
  • Ability to adapt to varying schedule demands and varying job demands.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
