Gaming Cashier

Wyoming Horse Racing is seeking a Gaming Cashier for our Gillette location. The Gaming Cashier will be responsible for all cash desk transactions and off-track-betting (OTB) bets.

Responsibilities:

· Follows cash handling procedures in a secure and timely manner.

· Completes all customer transactions accurately.

· Assists in the transfer of jackpot money to customers in a confidential and secure process.

· Ensures optimum operation and minimal down time of terminals by promptly reporting any malfunctions to the supervisor.

· Understands who to contact to handle major technical repairs.

· Ensures work area is kept clean and orderly and assists in cleaning facility as needed throughout shift.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

· Regular and reliable attendance.

· Knowledge of secure cash handling procedures.

· Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other related software.

· Strong customer service skills.

Experience:

· At least one-year previous cash handling experience.

· Customer service experience.

· Previous gaming experience preferred but not required.

Must be 21 or older. Employment is contingent upon candidate’s ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour
