A quaint Spanish restaurant, serving a complete menu for Lunch, & Dinner.

Come by and visit our Bakery Café if you’re in the mood for pastries, coffee, sandwiches or choose from our selection of sweets. But of course, if you’re on the go, then perhaps a quick trip to our Convenience Store where you’ll find just about anything you may need…including gas at our Mobil gas station.

Responsibilities and Duties

GAS STATION ATTENDANT

Job Description: To become a Crew Member you must be enthusiastic, energetic, flexible and , most of all, enjoy providing exceptional service to out guests.

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of El Carajo.
• Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team
• Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues
• Communicates information to manager so the the team can respond as necessary
• Contributes to positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in crewmember's morale and performance and communicating them to the store manager
• Delivers exceptional customer service to all customers by acting with a "customer comes first" attitude
• Focusing on the customer by giving a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact and offering help locating additional items when needed
• maintains a clean and organized workspace so that crewmembers can locate resources and product as needed
• Accurately perform cashier duties- handling transactions with precision while following company policies and procedures
• Maintaining the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by store manager
• Supporting opening and closing store activities when needed

Required Qualifications

• Maaintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays
• Meet store operating policies and standards, safely and securely
• Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
• Ability to learn quickly, understand and carry out oral and written instructions, and request clarification when needed
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• At least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand upright for long periods of time
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
• visual Acuity: Having close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection of small parts/ details

Pay: $14.50 per hour
