Join us in this role where you’ll become part of a new team that maintains the IT infrastructure in our power generation facilities. You’ll operate in an international environment with colleagues based across the world.
Welcome to Production IT Product Line
You’ll be part of the U.S IT North America where you, together with your colleagues, will operate and maintain the OT infrastructure across our U.S portfolio of assets. The tasks range from visits to our production sites for installation and lifecycle management, to remote support and patching. As some of our facilities are subject to the NERC CIP high classification, we are looking for a number of well-structured IT infrastructure technology ninjas, who can work across a multitude of technologies with support from our global competence team. As a team, we have an open dialogue, collaborate, and share knowledge across borders and regions. We support and embrace learning opportunities to be on the forefront within IT technologies.
You’ll play an important role in:
- supporting and maintaining our Generator Control Centre (GCC) infrastructure to a NERC CIP High level
- being a part of our U.S local support team for our IT infrastructure in onshore and offshore power generation facilities
- patching and maintaining a wide range of infrastructure technologies to keep our core applications afloat
- our journey to implement SAFe in all teams and supporting your colleagues in other IT infrastructure teams.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have a deep technical understanding of at least one of the following areas: VMWare HCI, Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco Network R&S, Cohesity Backup, Gigamon taps, PAM 360, Active Directory, or Tripwire
- are able to pass a NERC CIP background check
- participate in a 24/7 support function with 3 hours’ drive from our Generator Control Centre on Long Island, NY
- preferably have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/software engineering or similar engineering knowledge
- preferably have experience working in the power utility sector.
