General Assembly Operator

Attwood Corporation, a Brunswick Company , is the world's leading manufacturer of marine accessories for the boating industry, including a wide range of seating, hardware, fuel systems, navigational lighting, pumps, and other electro-mechanical components.

We currently have an opportunity for highly motivated, team players with mechanical aptitude as Assembler on 1st shift.

Candidates will be required to rotate to different stations as needed. Maintain safe & clean work areas. And keep production records using paper/computers.

Responsibilities for this position will include:

• Follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to rotate through a wide variety of cells and demonstrate proficiency
• Use a variety of hand tools, fixtures and test equipment
• Visually inspect production run and document results.
• Determine and report malfunctions to appropriate parties.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
• Participation in departmental improvement projects

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 year of general work experience.
• Prior production/manufacturing machine operation experience preferred.
• Mechanical ability
• Ability to operate manufacturing equipment and hand tools.
• The position will require physical strength, agility, dexterity and standing for extended periods
• Prefer experience in environments with Lean. Six Sigma and 5S
