Description:

Looking for individuals to fill several Geospatial Analyst positions working in the field of GEOINT. Entry level & recent college graduate GIS oriented candidates will be considered. Candidates should possess strong computer skills and a capacity to learn new and emerging technologies, be detail-oriented with a positive attitude and excellent work habits. Advancement opportunities are available based on demonstrated production proficiency, data quality metrics, and/or contributions to process methodology innovations.

Functional Responsibilities:

· Performs simple to moderate feature extraction in ArcGIS and ArcPro with raster manipulation.

· Provide Geospatial Services to extract feature data through heads-up display methods utilizing mono image sources.

· Performs moderately complex GIS cartographic activities and quality assurance using ESRI software involving both manual and automated processes.

· Collect, analyze and interpret geographic information using a variety of source material.

· Conduct research and prepare maps and other spatial data in digital or graphic form.

· Provide support in geospatial analysis of cartographic products, georeferencing of cartographic products and imagery analysis.

· Uses remote sensing techniques, spatial analysis, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) skills to construct multi-source geospatial intelligence databases.

· Meet or exceed production quality and quantity expectations.

· Completes production tasks assigned by the Production Lead or Production Manager

· Interact daily with supervisors and/or functional peer groups.

· Participates in two-way communications at all levels.

· Actively conforms to the company quality policy

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in a related IT or Geosciences field

· Functional GIS work experience

  • Production experience using ArcGIS or ArcPro tools to generate GIS products
  • Experience with Imagery/Raster source

· Ability to work in a team environment

  • Working knowledge of geospatial databases/datasets (GeoDatabase)

· Analytical and problem-solving skills

· Experience using or producing NGA AERONAUTICAL program products such as Vertical Obstructions / Digital Vertical Obstruction File (FVO / DVOF)

· Experience using or producing NGA MARITIME program products such as Electronic Navigation Chart (ENC) and/or Digital Nautical Chart (DNC)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31,200.00 - $41,600.00 per year
