What you'll do:
- Execute consolidations process in Oracle to produce consolidated financial statements in an accurate and timely manner
- Lead the monthly closing process for assigned entities (review reporting close packs prepared by external parties, review invoice coding, review journal entries, etc)
- Oversee sections of the international P&L (i.e. Sales & Marketing) and BS (i.e. Fixed Assets, Accrued Payroll, etc)
- Own statutory audits, annual account filings and other compliance matters for assigned international entities
- Analyze foreign currency gain/loss transactions and currency translation adjustments
- Collaborate with Tax team to perform appropriate intercompany accounting activities for Transfer Pricing agreements (run Transfer Pricing models, book intercompany JEs, prepare reconciliations, etc)
- Research and identify shared costs and/or services provided across the organization to various subsidiaries and related entities
- Conduct regular review of accounting processes to identify areas for improvement
- Perform special projects and financial analysis to support our rapid growth
What we're looking for:
- Big 4 accounting firm (or similar) experience
- 6+ years of accounting experience (preferably in a SOX environment)
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Vlookups, sumifs, pivot tables, etc)
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communication skills
- Strong sense of ownership and curiosity to learn new skills
- Results-driven individual with a team-oriented mindset
- CPA/CA or CPA/CA path
- Accounting ERP experience (preferably Oracle)
Our PinFlex future of work philosophy requires this role to visit a Pinterest office for collaboration approximately 3x per quarter. For employees not located within a commutable distance from this in-office touchpoint, Pinterest will cover T&E. Learn more about PinFlex here.
Colorado based applicants only:
- The minimum and maximum salary for this position is $109,500 to $164,200 in Colorado;
- This position is eligible for equity;
