Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist


In this position you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining and performing global controlling and reporting tasks as well as implementing and maintaining processes and standards. As Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist (FP&A Specialist) you will perform your tasks in line with the organization’s strategy contributing to optimize the financial planning systems output. You will be collaborating closely with other finance departments worldwide to ensure that controlling and reporting is globally aligned and executed effectively.


Description/Tasks:


Enhance the relevance and efficiency of the reporting and forecasting process and the reported key metrics

Support the implementation of the new budgeting and forecasting tool

Develop standard reports, retrieving data from the different systems, to be used globally

Generate, review and consolidate forecast data for the Jet Aviation group

Update, maintain and consolidate the operating plan for the Jet Aviation group, and ensure the accuracy of the consolidated figures

Support FP&A related projects

Prepare and develop reports and presentations for management and holders

Develop, update and maintain FP&A policies and procedures

Prepare the support functions budget and reports and follow up on deviations

Support the month-end closing process for the Jet Aviation Group

Ensure all reports and disclosures comply with applicable government regulations, professional standards and company policies (i.e. SOX)

Monitor and provide guidance to the finance departments worldwide for aligned and effective execution of their tasks related to reporting and controlling

Support the other members of the department in various matters as deemed necessary


Qualification/Experience:


University degree in Finance/Accounting/Data Analytics or similar

Minimum 3 years work experience in a similar role in an international company or with relevant experience

Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills

Data mining and data visualization knowledge

Knowledge of SAP / SAP BW is desired

Able to develop complex financial models

Understanding of US-GAAP is desired

Understanding of financial statements and corporate finance topics

Good interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders

Results driven – able to execute with high personal accountability while working under pressure

Team player and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

Concern for high standards and data accuracy

High business and financial acumen
