The Grants Manager is responsible for overseeing, managing, and implementing CCNH’s grant program in order to raise funds for all CCNH programs, including general program support, capital, and special projects/needs.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assume responsibility for New Hampshire Catholic Charities Grant Program, which includes a team of two grant writers
  • Coordinate grant proposals and requests for support across all CCNH programs and departments
  • Conduct and oversee research of grant opportunities, including matching grantors with appropriate programs and needs, and manage and maintain various on-line and other grant research memberships
  • Create and develop interpersonal relationships with Program Officers and other appropriate staff at key foundations and granting organizations
  • Work with program directors to determine needs that may be supported with grants
  • Track all grants and proposals so that their status is current; including input and update of funder information and grant requests, and maintain current status within the CRM program
  • Oversee and coordinate all Grant Reporting with program administrative services staff
  • Provide Monthly Grants Update report to all program directors and staff, as appropriate
Requirements:
  • A Bachelors’ Degree with an emphasis in communications/or non-profit management/ or other relevant field and three or more years of experience in the field of non-profit grant writing
  • Knowledgeable in computers specifically Microsoft Office, and ability to learn complex database system (Raiser’s Edge experience preferred)
  • Ability to manage people, process, deadlines and budget
