Art makes you feel something; design makes you do something. Our Graphic Designers combine brand standards, color theory, graphic assets, and typography to make our audience do both.

We are in search for a Graphic Designer to join our growing team that has a passion for product catalog layout. The right person for this job cares about the details. They actively stay up to date with industry trends and software, layout, and typography, and have strong error-checking skills. They’re proactive.

Our product catalog is 2,500+ pages and is the primary selling resource to over 1,300 Sales Representatives across the country. We take pride in our catalog and while we believe we have the best one in the industry; we also realize we need to continuously improve it. This is where you come in.

The right candidate:

Works closely with our Product & Commercialization Team to design marketing materials for monthly new product releases

Continuously updates our catalog with new products and updating current content to ensure all information is accurate.


Enhances the production of our product catalog through InDesign styles, scripting, automation, etc…


Collaborates with members of the creative team and regularly reviews work for continuity, cohesiveness, and creativity, ensuring alignment with brand standards and strategy

Monitors trends in graphic design; incorporates best design practices

Actively participates in the creative process, defining, maintaining and evolving the Kimball Midwest brand

Consistently traffics own work and meets deadlines as defined in department standards

Works independently under general direction

Pays incredible attention to detail, is highly organized and is willing to absorb and adhere to internal processes


We’re excited about you if you have:

Associate Degree in Graphic Design or related field with 2+ years of experience

High proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)

Expertise in InDesign with a strong understanding of creating and managing InDesign paragraph and character styles, indexing, and scripting and possibly automation.

Strong graphic design concepts and core design principles, including typography, visual flow, layout, and legibility

The ability to seamlessly balance long-term projects with daily design needs, communicate (verbally and in writing) well with others and pay close attention to details, delivering art on time in a fast-paced environment


Experience working with a Product Information Management system (PIM) and Digital Asset Management system (DAM) is a plus but not required

The skills to collaborate, traffic work, work independently and take direction well

A solid understanding of pre-press and production world, CMYK, RGB and PMS color books

This is a Hybrid position, in office T-R, from home M & F.
