About the role

A graphic designer at Madeo gets to collaborate with other designers, strategists, engineers, and client teams. We even have a ‘buddy system‘ where a designer almost always has another designer as a peer on every project.

At any given point you would be working with a diverse range of three to six clients on projects that include design for brand identity systems, social media, Emails, campaigns, motion graphics, data visualizations, and web projects depending on your skill sets and interest. We occasionally work on print design projects, but the majority of our work is digital and interactive.

Minimum qualifications

• Relevant experience with brand identity design work for clients.
• Examples of Email, social media, and other designs for digital communications.
• While entry level designers will be considered, preference will be for those with a number of years of relevant professional experience of working with clients.
• Genuine interest in working with nonprofit organizations and mission-driven brands.
• We are still working remotely and will continue into 2022 with EST as a work time zone.

Range of responsibilities

Depending on your relevant experience, you may either support or lead the following aspects of the role.

• Brand identity projects: You would work with Madeo’s creative director, designers, and strategists on discovery interviews, branding workshops, and design direction explorations to create a visual brand identity. You would also work on the brand identity system, including the brand guide, associated graphics, Email & social media templates, and other brand collateral.
• Ongoing communications and marketing: Whether with new or ongoing client partnerships, you may take full responsibility for or contribute to social media and Email marketing programs, which also includes data visualization, motion graphics, and requires a genuine interest in the relationships between design, content, and narrative.
• Campaigns: When we partner with clients on campaigns, you would play a key role in the design of the overall campaign and its associated assets, which are typically all digital.
• Madeo’s own projects: You may also be invited to design for Madeo’s own marketing and communication across decks, presentations, case studies, and social media.
