Job SummaryUnder general direction maintains the grounds of the Medical Center. Exhibits the F.I.R.S.T. values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).

Working Conditions, Hazards and Physical EffortThe task of this job does not involve exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues, but employment may require performing supplemental tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues. Moderate to heavy physical effort will be required with lifting, moving and subject to heavy stress on occasion, but normal stress on a day to day basis. Will be working in both hot and cold areas due to outside work involved. Subject to injury from cuts, burns, strains, electric shock, exposure to high temps. and contamination from different chemicals and wastes. Hazards involved with working around power lines and lawn care equipment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. independently.

Minimum Qualifications or EquivalentsEducation: High School Graduate or equivalent.Experience: Two (2) years lawn care experience, including operation and maintenance of lawn care equipment.EQUIPMENT USED/SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Must be familiar with the use of basic hand tools as well as outdoor equipment, such as mowers, weedeaters, etc. -
Licenses, Certifications, and/or RegistrationsMust have a valid Kentucky Driver’s License.
