Job description
The Manager bust be a mature individual at least 25 years of age. The Manager must be able to meet the child development needs and address the developmental delays as well as run the day to day operations. The Manager must exercise sound judgement, provide good care and supervision to all residents. The Manager must be flexible in their ability to work 40 hours per week and additional PRN (as needed) hours.
Description of Duties and Job Requirements:
Must have a 4 year degree or higher in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or Human Services. A copy of degree or official transcript is required with application.
· Direct care staff must be at least 25 years of age.
· Must have a high-school diploma.
· Must have three character reference.
· Must have one professional reference.
· Must have one or more years of experience work with children of 2 years post education in a program leading to a degree in the field of child warfare of human services.
· Must be able to pass drug test.
· Must be able to pass a background screening for child/abuse and criminal history.
· Must have a medical examination by licensed physician.
· Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance policy.
· Must receive CPR and First Aid training.
· Must be able to receive training for Medical technician and preform ad Medical technician after completion of training.
· Must carry out responsibilities during fire drills and disasters.
· Must be able to work under a supervisor’s direction.
· Must be able to accurately daily activities of resident in charts.
· Must be aware of the Group Home Policies and Procedures.
· Must be available for working extended hours in an emergency. If an emergency occurs the Childcare Worker must call for additional support from the supervisor (if applicable) then call the Executive Director.
· Assist with residential admissions and discharges.
· Participate in weekly treatment team meetings.
· Must ensure that there is adequate shift coverage provided if absenteeism occurs. Childcare Workers are required to remain at the worksite until properly relieved.
· Childcare Workers must maintain communication with one another from shift to shift regarding the individuals receiving services. This will be accomplished through each staff contributing to and reviewing the log book during each and all shifts.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
