Job Summary:

The Guest Services Attendant will work as a team and provide the highest quality cleaning services, to ensure that the Spa, and all areas of the Spa meet the standards of a five star/five diamond operation. Eligible for union benefits.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Use guests’ names and recognize return guests whenever possible.
• Spot and /or clean carpets as needed.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely manner and with a sense of urgency.
• Mop all hardwood floors and tile floors.
• Attend to assigned daily special projects immediately and complete them in a timely manner.
• Wash windows in rooms, entry ways, and hallways daily.
• Maintain all entrances and walkways to spa, guest rooms and main house.
• Report problems found requiring engineering assistance.
• Always maintain and stock closets in an organized way and keep doors shut. Lock doors at the end of the shift.
• Notify housekeeping Office of items found after hours and to the MOD during business hours.
• Deep Clean showers, steam room and Sauna daily.
• Replenish all paper good products all over entire Spa.
• Report all suspicious activity and emergencies immediately to supervisor.
• Attend all departmental meetings as scheduled.
• Clean walls, floors and surfaces in the treatment rooms.
• Dust all furniture and fixtures. Clean all lamps and shades.
• Clean and polish all mirrors, chrome and other hard surfaces daily.
• Clean woodwork, doors and baseboards as needed.
• Empty trash and wastebaskets.
• Vacuum all hallways and areas that have carpet.
• Wash blankets in Sanctuary when needed.
• Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures.

Absolutely Required Skills:

• Ability to work efficiently and thoroughly, performing physical tasks for the entire shift.
• Must be self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Familiarity with cleaning standards and ability to work as a team.
• Ability to operate general office equipment including personal computer, facsimile, printer, copier.
• Ability to communicate with and understand the English language.
• Ability to work in a neat and orderly way, always maintain a professional appearance.
• Valid driver’s license to operate EZ-Go cart and company vehicles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Desired Skills:

• Some housekeeping experience.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods of time and move frequently from area to area. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and reach with hands and arms. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Repetitive hand use and firm grasping is required. Skin/hands frequently in water and exposed to chemicals.
