LifeSpring Health Systems is seeking a Health Equity Program Manager who will work throughout the LifeSpring service area to reduce health disparities. This position will assist LifeSpring Health Systems in developing culturally sensitive services and programs, particularly to people of color and other marginalized populations, and engage disenfranchised or marginalized community members in meaningful ways to improve awareness of LifeSpring’s services, assess disparities, and develop supportive programming. The overall objective of this position is to develop and implement programs and service delivery to help reduce health disparities based on race, gender (identity), ethnicity, geography and economic status by addressing the social determinants of health. The ideal candidate should have a strong commitment to health equity and improving access to care; and understand the intersectionality of race, ethnicity, and health disparities in the population served by LifeSpring Health Systems. Experience working with marginalized populations and community engagement needed.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's in public health, psychology, or other social services degree is required. A Masters degree is preferred. Covid vaccination is required.
