Job Description

Moody is looking for a motivated individual to perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on heavy construction equipment and trucks in the safest, most efficient manner possible to avoid downtime.

Have in-depth knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing electrical and hydraulic systems, diesel and gasoline engines as well as transmissions, drivetrains etc.

This is outside/field work in all types of environments, weather conditions, and all seasons. Construction background not required but preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screen testing.
• Must maintain a valid Driver’s License and be insurable to drive our service vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Able to performs diagnostics in order to responsibly source parts and accurately repair heavy equipment and vehicles, including but not limited to diesel trucks, trailers, excavators, Bulldozers Road Graders, rollers, loaders, backhoes, skid steers, etc.
• Able to lubricate and perform preventative maintenance work on equipment and vehicles
• Be able to examine machines and parts for damage or excessive wear, repairing and replacing as needed with the company interests in mind.
• Be a self-starter and work well with others.
• Be a team player and able to take instruction.
• Adhere to safety procedures and best practices.
• Able to work in the elements and long hours or weekend days to meet deadlines or evade incoming weather conditions
• Basic welding skills a plus
• Need basic computer skills to perform daily tasks such as time cards, equipment logs, parts ordering etc.
• Must be able to keep and maintain a simple schedule in a dynamic environment. Be able to understand and arrange priority repairs in a flexible manner.
• Must work well with others
• Must have 3 years minimum experience on heavy equipment/truck maintenance and repairs or a related field that showcases skills with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
