Job description
Must have 2 yrs. previous experience working in construction. Able to operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner, responsible for performing daily safety and maintenance checks. Will be excavating trenches, digging holes, level dirt and level asphalt. Must be able to follow instructions and comprehend construction needs. Working knowledge of equipment to ensure it's running properly by checking gauges, dials and other indicators. Equipment may include: Excavators, Water Trucks, Front-End Loaders, Back-Hoes, Blades, Graders, Rollers, Scrapers. Able to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of machines or vehicles.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions; Extreme Heat/Cold, Wind, Rain. Lifts, push, pulls 50+ lbs. Able to climb in and out of equipment frequently. Must be able to comprehend and follow instructions, have good visual and hearing abilities.
