The heavy equipment shipping and receiving (S&R) warehouse specialist has the responsibility for the safe and accurate handling of inbound and outbound materials. Uphold plant standards and ensure compliance with HSSE and DOT policies and procedures. Lead by example. He/she must be able to create, promote and sustain operations that are injury-free, environmentally responsible and meets the shipping demands of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load & unload tankers and box trailers per plant procedures.
- Follow HSSE rules and maintain housekeeping standards.
- Ensure safe, accurate & timely dispatch of outbound shipments following all applicable DOT regulations, and satisfying both Solvay & customer requirements.
- Ensure safe, accurate and timely receipt of inbound deliveries.
- Report all safety incidents and near misses and participate in investigations.
- Perform physical inventory as directed Assist with waste handling activities.
- Stage raw materials for production.
- Package finished goods in drums or totes.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a chemical plant environment strongly desired.
- Competent in computer systems and operations.
- Knowledge of SAP software strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, loading, unloading operations.

Salary: From $23.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
