Shift: 7am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday (with occasional overtime)

Location:312 East 52 Bypass, Pilot Mountain, NC

Salary Range:Starting at $17.00 - $35.00/hr, based on experience (multiple postitions)

Job Responsibilities:

• Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment along with completing preventive maintenance.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
• Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
• Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.
• Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders.
• Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Industrial Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Skills

• Experience with 480 volt 3-phase electrical
• Skilled in welding (mig, arc, tig)
• Basic programming knowledge of PLC and VFD motor drives
• Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment
• In-depth knowledge of system maintenance
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations
• Skilled in analyzing information and creating reports

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Technical degree or related certifications preferred
• 5+ years of equivalent experience
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Basic computer and math skills
• Be dependable, available, and teachable
