Nemours is seeking a HIM Processing Tech to join our team in Wilmington, DE. This position is a entry level Health Information Management position. The HIM Processing tech will provide clerical assistance with all aspects of medical transcription and releases of information for Florida and Delaware. This position will be hybrid after completing full time training in person.
Essential Functions:

- Dissemination of patient care reports from the Dictation and Epic applications to appropriate physicians, and ancillary clinicians.
- Update eScription One Inquiry and Epic provider databases for the Health Information Department.
- Print and maintain the Fax Logs from the Epic applications.
- Fax or mail out transcribed notes to the community physicians in a timely manner.
- Fax or mail out requests for protected health information processed by Release of Information Services.
- Process return mail to locate correct mailing address.
- Submit Tickets to update Provider Masterfile.
- Acts as the liaison for Business Development department and PCP/referring physician outside of the Nemours Organization.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma required
- 1-3 years of HIM related experience required
