- Teaching the British Swim School program curriculum to children and adults as the Lead Instructor
- Providing the initial training in the BSS swim method and the ongoing development of all our swim teachers
- Using BSS Instructor assessment and development tools/checklists to maintain lesson quality
- Evaluating swim instructor performance and creating performance improvement plans as necessary
- Offering guidance and support when managing difficult class situations
- Assisting with business growth and attracting new customers
- A track record in the world of swimming and fitness teaching/management – A specialist aquatics qualification is desirable but not required
- Experience working with children and a passion for our mission of water safety and survival
- A Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Experience with setting and maintaining standards for a service business – especially if its child related
- A Lifeguard certification – or ability to renew (or this can be provided. You may not be able to require it but instead offer to provide it
- Fluency in English – and another language is a real bonus!
