Job description

Duties Include:

• Work with nursing staff and the front office to accommodate patients
• Responsible for providing health care for patients in designated primary or specialty areas, including patient diagnoses, treatment, education, and referrals
• Obtains histories, performs physical exams, makes assessments, and orders tests to adequately assess and determine diagnoses and plan of care
• Records health history, findings, treatment, and recommendations accurately, clearly, and concisely
• Deliver culturally competent, harm reduction focused care
• Provide back up training to STI RN's
• Work collaboratively with other clinic providers
• Provide STI, PrEP and PEP patient care including follow up and monitoring
• Build and maintain relationships with medical providers
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Nursing Required
• Nurse Practitioner License Required
• HIV treatment experience and/or training required
• HIV Training and Certification highly preferred
