An acute care hospital in beautiful Illinois is looking to add a Chief Information Officer to their growing team!

This 150+ bed hospital is dedicated to improving the health and wellness of the families in their community and surrounding communities. They provide a wide range of services that includes maternity, pediatrics, surgical, dialysis, behavioral health, and much more. The Chief Information Officer will manage and oversee IT processes including: system applications, training, systems maintenance and recovery, back-up, security, new system implementations and interfaces. They will be acting as HIPPA Security officer for the organization and working with upper-level IT staff to develop and implement department goals. The Chief Information Officer will be in charge of emerging technologies that can improve IT department performance and increase company profits. They will manage IT personnel and create and implement IT policies, protocols, and standards.

The Chief Information Officer will report directly to the Director Clinical Systems and Reporting, Director IT Infrastructure and Networking, and the Senior Business Analyst. They will also be working with upper management and senior IT staff to develop the IT department goals and budget. The ideal candidate should have experience working with Microsoft Enterprise products as well as basic understanding of networking and security principals. They should also have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent education/professional work experience as a previous CIO/Deputy CIO.
