Job Summary

The Gift Shop Supervisor trains, assists and directs department staff. Provides efficient and professional customer service. Ensures the store is presentable for customers with all merchandise well-stocked. Accurately processes guest payments by operating cash register and/or credit card machine. Ensures proper opening and closing procedures and security procedures are followed. Train team members as required. Assist Gift Shop team members with discounts, returns and other transaction needs. Responsible for cleanliness of the sales floor and back room. Performs deep cleaning projects as assigned. Knows and understands company, Environmental, Health and Safety Management programs. Works extra shifts as required. Ensures cash drawer is balanced daily. Ensures quality assurance standards are followed by all team members. Assists with inventory control, ordering, receiving, stocking and display/presentation of store merchandise. Ensures all team members greet and assists guests in a courteous, professional and timely manner.

Job Requirements

One plus year of experience in retail operations. High School Diploma.
