A prestigious award-winning teaching hospital in New York is searching for an experienced Hospital Pharmacy Manager to join its team!
This acute care facility is home to 300+ beds, several award-winning specialties including inpatient behavioral health, surgery, orthopedics. This hospital utilizes the latest in technology and evidence-based practices. This facility utilizes a patient first philosophy.
The Hospital Pharmacy Manager will oversee daily operations of the Pharmacy Department which includes, but is not limited to department leadership, coordination of intra-departmental workflows, scheduling, payroll, assisting with informatics topics, and addressing personnel issues. The Operations Manager will oversee the quality and safety in the receipt, preparation, packaging, and delivery of medications as well as supervise and coordinate the activities of the pharmacy technicians including delegating assignments as necessary in accordance with established policies and procedures to maintain department productivity.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in hospital pharmacy
- 3-5 years administrative or supervisory level experience
- N.Y.S. Pharmacist License, Current N.Y.S. Registration.
