What will I do?
- Greet customer by name, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the customer base.
- Greet and assist customers and patients in lobbies.
- Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude.
- Ensure visitors answer screening questions.
- Responsible for taking temperature of visitors, patients, and vendors and maintaining log of all interactions.
- Verify patient appointments.
- Provide patient with registration instructions or alternate entry into facility.
- Create positive first impression for everyone entering the hospital.
- Ensure all visitors, patients, and vendors are wearing appropriate PPE.
- Assist in assuring no children are permitted in hospital unless a patient or given special permissions.
- Oversee general maintenance of work area – sweeping, wiping down surfaces and equipment, emptying trash, picking up trash, etc.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
Experience:
- Strong customer service experience.
- Cash handling experience is preferred but not required.
- Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
Skills:
- Willingness to be flexible, work multiple facility locations.
- Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations.
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
- Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).
Physical Demands:
- Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
- Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
