Job description
A Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting guests at the front door with a friendly, genuine gesture. As the pivotal point of the restaurant, Host/Hostesses are knowledgeable about the rotation system, all reservations/private parties of the day, knowing which servers/bartenders are on duty and ensuring tables are guest ready for seating. The Host/Hostess is also responsible for taking To-Go orders through the phone when needed as well as ensuring the front door is clean from any hand prints throughout the shift.
