Host

Status: Full time (5 days a week; Tues-Sat)

Reports to: Front of House Managers

Responsible for: Welcoming guests into the restaurant, seating the space and managing reservations/guest history information

Technically Speaking

- Demonstrates excellent understanding of all Menus

- Provides excellent hospitality to guests

- Demonstrates accuracy when managing a busy door of reservations, walk-ins and quoting waitlist

- Maintains a clean, safe and organized work space during prep, service and closing

- Participates in special events at the restaurant such as private parties or buy outs, involving a different pace of service such as passed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres

- Masters all applicable technology including MobileBytes, Reserve, Phones, and Doordash/Caviar

Personality-Wise

- Loves the hospitality industry

- Demonstrates excellent communication skills with co-workers and guests through personal, phone and written interactions

- Respectful of rules and guidelines and invested in contributing to a comfortable, inclusive work environment

- Contributes to a positive and proactive culture in the restaurant, and is able to build and maintain positive relationships with guests and industry professionals

- Eye for Detail and a Can-Do attitude

- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines

- Excellent Troubleshooting skills and ability to be charismatic under pressure

Physically

- Proven reliability and excellent attendance

- Scheduling availability that meets the needs of the restaurant

- Ability to be active on the floor for extended periods of time including late at night, weekends and holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
