Job description

· The GM will provide the leadership required to achieve the goals of customers, owners, and employees.

· Selected Gm will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of guest satisfaction

· Review daily reports to include revenue, rate management, forecasts and other reports generated by the property management systems as needed.

· Understand the budgeting processes and staying within budgeted operational costs, ensure labor costs are a based upon business demand.

· Ensure staff is trained in financial control procedures direct bills, and that these procedures are regularly followed

· Ensure city ledger accounts are kept current and invoices are sent regularly for accounts receivables.

· Train staff to successfully perform all functions for guest service and for handling guest who are dissatisfied with the products and services they received. Personally, handle difficult situations involving guest situations. Attempt to resolve all issues of poor guest service Prior to guests’ departure.

Must have knowledge of various computer software applications Hotel Key, WebRezpro, MS office suites (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google office suites.

Must be able to sit or stand for long periods at a time. May be required to do light lifting or carrying. Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and in stressful situations.

Must be flexible in work hours/days. Must be available to work extended hours, nights, and weekends. On call for no show employees.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

All guests and staff are required to wear masks, common surfaces are sanitized regularly, vaccination requirements.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Upper Lake, CA 95485: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Hotel management: 4 years (Preferred)
• Hospitality: 4 years (Preferred)
