Hourly Labor Scheduler

The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking an Hourly Labor Scheduler to work at our sauces processing facility in Fremont- OH. Successful candidates must be able to ensure that the scheduling of hourly labor is completed accurately- in accordance with production requirements- union contract and with supervisor approval within the daily time frames. This position requires data entry and management of all related items to scheduling and timekeeping systems- personal days- vacation days- scheduling changes- line transfers- etc. Maintain and research production related issues within scheduling. Successful candidate must be able to process hourly payroll on a weekly basis. Must support the scheduling efforts of the factory and all other office duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Candidates must be available to flex hours and be available on holidays if needed
  • Must have computer experience

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Scheduling labor according to forecasted needs from Excel and SAP
  • Verifying personal- vacation- emergency related days off within contractual requirements
  • Scheduling hourly labor based on standard procedures
  • Maintaining training and staffing records
  • Maintaining schedules and timecards using Kronos
  • Processing weekly payroll file for hourly employees using Kronos
  • Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies as needed
  • Preparing periodic payroll reports
  • Entering employee information and payroll data into HRIS and payroll systems as needed
  • Processing new employees- promotions- and terminations
  • Maintaining attendance records
  • Answering employees' questions and concerns regarding labor scheduling payroll
  • Performing responsibilities in accordance with Work Safe Procedures and GMP Standards
  • Performing any other duties related to scheduling as required by Manager

Qualifications:

  • Computer literacy- including proficiency in MS Word- MS Excel- MS Outlook and Kronos (preferred).
  • Ability to learn new computer applications.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills are needed.
  • Must be able to multitask- evaluate options and make good decisions.
  • Requires organizational and research skills.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
