Job description

Our company is looking for a House Person with experience in the Lodging industry. Under the direct supervision of the General Manager, the House person will be responsible for performing light maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and property structures, in addition to performing grounds maintenance. All work will be done in compliance with EPA, Hazmat and OSHA safety rules and regulations. Some of the work responsibilities includes :

• Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels etc.)
• Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, Service PTAC and HVAC units etc.)
• Undertake activities of pest control and/or ground maintenance such as spraying insecticide or weed eliminator
• Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. General landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)
• Shuttle driving during designated hours
