40 hours per week

Work Schedule: *Rotating shifts of 6:00am to 2:30pm, 7:00am to 3:30pm and 8:00am to 4:30pm with some weekends 7:00am to 3:30pm*

This position is eligible for a $1,000.00 (less taxes) sign on bonus

*NLH member employees and those with a service break less than one year are not eligible.*

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Manager of Safety & Environmental Services and the Supervisor of Environmental Services, the Housekeeper/EVS Tech I will be responsible for cleaning and disinfecting all areas of the hospital and/or offsite clinics according to current policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.

• Requires reading, writing and basic math skills.

• Basic Computer skills.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Able to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.

• Good customer service skills.

• Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare facility preferred but not required. Will train the right candidate.
