We are hiring Laundry Worker for one of our clients in Phoenix, AZ.

Job Description:

Complete the normal laundry duties which include sorting dirty laundry, washing and drying the laundry, folding laundry, and putting clean laundry in its proper place, filling unit orders, marking clothing and shoes with size, changing out detergents, cleaning out the dryer lint basket, cleaning out the drain lint traps, wiping down the machines, sweep, mop and vacuum floors, clean restroom. Help sweep and mop the café floor daily

Skills required:

• Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, position requires walking, standing, and lifting for long periods of time

Experience required:

• Sort carts of dirty clothes, wash, dry and fold clean laundry (including clothes, shoes, sheets and blankets).
• Fill carts with clean laundry orders for detention units to pick up.
• Clean and maintain laundry area including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming and cleaning restroom.
• Changing out laundry detergents and cleaning lint traps.
• Sweeping and mopping café floors daily.

Experience Preferred:

• Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, position requires walking, standing, and lifting for long periods of time.

Education Preferred:

• HS diploma or GED

Work hours:

• Mon- Friday 7am-4PM

Additional information:

• The temp staff will be escorted throughout the building at all times and will not have any interaction with the youth.
• Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, position requires walking, standing, and lifting for long periods of time.

Pay: $16.00 - $16.46 per hour
