Summary: The Housekeeping & Support role (Day Porter) will be responsible for keeping rooms throughout the building and grounds in clean and orderly condition. This will be a part-time position, working between 12 and 15 hours per week. They will be responsible for the following duties:
Essential Functions:
- Cleans and polishes building fixtures and trim.
- De-ices walkways if needed.
- Cleans conference rooms, break rooms, rest rooms, corridors, stairways, kitchens, fitness equipment and other work areas.
- Sweeps and vacuums floor.
- Dusts furniture and equipment.
- Polishes metalwork.
- Washes walls and woodwork.
- Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Recycles materials as instructed.
- Replenishes bathroom and break room supplies.
- Waters indoor plants.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
High school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Training/Skills:
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

This is an Hourly – Non-Exempt position with an hourly rate range of: $19.25 - $25.00.
