The Glass Light Hotel and Gallery in downtown Norfolk is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Houseman.
Summary:
Ensure the housekeepers in the hotel have the adequate supplies they need and storage areas are organized.Maintain public areas to include lobby, meeting space, gallery and restrooms.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure housekeeping areas are well maintained and effectively stocked with supplies.
- Move clean and soiled linen to appropriate areas.
- Perform assigned cleaning duties.
- Present self in a professional/clean manner at all times.
- Quickly respond to supervisor and/or guest request.
- Report any observed product deficiencies.
- Maintain public areas to include lobby, meeting space, gallery and restrooms.
- Position will require extended lengths of time standing, bending and lifting.
- Hotel operates 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week.
