Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of Housing Services Manager, completes inspections and reports for compliance with housing assistance program standards and various codes and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedules inspections for rentals and monitors housing assistance for compliance with federal regulations.
Identifies and prescribes maintenance work required for housing units to meet housing assistance and quality standards and generates necessary paperwork to complete repairs.
Maintains files and records on housing units, inspections, maintenance services provided and work performed.
Prepares necessary correspondence and reports and distributes as required.
Must be able to perform work duties accurately and in a timely manner.
Observes TNHA safety rules and regulations, policies and procedures
Maintains complete confidentiality of all information obtained through professional and client interactions.
May be required to travel.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Required:
High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (G.E.D.) or the equivalent.
One year of clerical/secretarial work experience.
Valid Alaska Driver License that meets TNHA insurance criteria.
Preferred:
American Indian/Alaskan Native (member of federally recognized tribe).
Two years residential construction and construction maintenance work experience.
One year of work experience with general office equipment.
