The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking an HR Analyst to join our team.

The HR Analyst provides support to the Human Resources team by creating, updating, entering, and analyzing HRIS data. This position helps maintain data integrity in the Y's HR systems by building and running queries, analyzing data, and generating reports and dashboards. Responsibilities include:

  • Generate reports/queries, including writing, maintaining, and supporting a variety of reports or queries by utilizing HRIS and excel.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the Y's HRIS and actively participates with new HR system implementations, integrations, and the maintenance or updates to current systems.
  • Partners with the HR team in providing HRIS support, including researching and resolving moderately to highly complex system issues, unexpected results, or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet organizational needs.
  • Support the security of systems and data through the maintenance of security roles/profiles, and conducts routine audits.
  • Maintain awareness of HRIS product and service development in order to provide recommendations and participate in the deployment of new releases.
  • Act as a point of contact for HRIS questions, password resets, data requests and questions, HRIS access, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of experience in relevant Human Resources experience.
  • Two or more years of experience working with HR Information Systems, preferably ADP Workforce Manager and/or UKG/Kronos.
  • Demonstrated above-average proficiency in computer software programs, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong expertise in utilizing data to build reports and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Possess exceptional written/verbal communications skills, time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and previous experience working with diverse populations are highly preferred.

Position Type: Full-Time

Location:This is a Hybrid position out of our Association Office in Tacoma, WA.

Compensation: $24.00 to $26.15/hour depending on experience.
