Description: The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level. Works closing with the HR Generalist/HR Manager and assist/support in all the designated HR related areas. This position carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: full cycle of the recruitment process from sourcing candidates to making employment offers, assist with benefits and payroll administration, managing the social media platforms, ordering of HR supplies, assist with scheduling of meetings, interviews, HR events and data entry as needed. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization. The HR Assistant must support the HR Team and be sensitive to corporate /plant needs, associates good will and the business needs overall.

Pay:
- Pay will be between $21-24/hr
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Associates degree in Human Resources or related field - Desired
- 1-3+ years of HR related experience
- HR Certification Credential (i.e.: SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR) - Desired
- Ability to exhibit a positive demeanor toward others
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and written with various audiences
- Ability to make decisions or take actions to solve a problem or reach a goal
- Familiarity with MS Office suite
