Job description
The HR assistant duties involve a wide range of support activities inside our HR department, from onboarding to maintaining our employee database to tracking daily sign in sheets. The HR Assistant will act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.
- Gather and process paperwork for new hires.
- Provide orientations for new employees by sharing onboarding packages and explaining company policies.
- Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
- Prepare and submit daily compensation and attendance sheets for Canvassers.
- Update internal databases with new hires’ data.
- Store, copy and scan company policies.
- Address employees’ queries.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports (i.e. weekly new hires report)
- Managing the Gas Card process for all driving canvassers
- Monitor stock and request supplies (for campaigns, office, etc.…)
- Monitor Incident Reports and submit to Corporate
- Other duties as requested.
*Qualifications and Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
At least one (1) year of HR or Admin experience
Key Requirements
Good understanding of HR operations (specifically onboarding).
Basic knowledge of labor legislation.
Hands-on experience with MS Office.
Solid organizational and time-management skills.
Strong communications skills.
Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
