Job Purpose
This HR Assistant role is responsible for performing administrative recruiting-related duties on a professional level and works closely with New Jersey program management and corporate HR. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: interviewing, application process, offer letter negotiation, background check and drug screen ordering, and onboarding. This position requires travel to different locations across New Jersey to interview candidates in person and help with the onboarding process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the hiring process with a member of corporate HR through interviewing candidates, walking candidates through the application, offer, and background processes.
  • Manage Indeed applicants for an assigned region
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews as needed.
  • Organize candidate details and current step in a spreadsheet for tracking purposes.
  • Assist in full cycle onboarding for a select region in New Jersey.
  • Keep updated candidate information, including resumes, contact details and process tracking, using our Applicant Tracking System
  • Design job postings that will attract the most candidates and interview questions that reflect each position's requirements
  • Manage current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefit laws and regulations.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of recruiting experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
  • Experience with Indeed required
  • Experience with Indeed hiring events strongly preferred
  • Experience with an HRIS strongly preferred.
  • Experience with ADP RM strongly preferred

Working Conditions

  • This is a contract position with an expected duration of 3 months
  • Travel to different stations spread across a region in New Jersey 50-60% of the time
  • Office environment
  • Remote capabilities with hybrid schedule

Pay range:

$17-21/hour depending on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
