This is a remote position however you must live in or be willing to relocate to one of the following states to be eligible for hire: California, Florida, Vermont, Tennessee, Texas, New York, Washington, Nebraska, North Carolina, Arizona, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Missouri, Michigan, Massachusetts, or Illinois


How I will contribute

As the HR Generalist on the Asure Consulting team this role will work with multiple clients, giving you the opportunity to handle a variety of HR functions, including employee relations, benefits, job descriptions, leaves, performance management, etc. Our team members enjoy learning about a variety of industries, adapt easily to various client needs, present their knowledge of HR confidently, demonstrate excellent customer service, and have a strong ability and desire to provide practical HR support and advice.

  • Serve clients by responding to human resources issues, problems, and questions via phone and e-mail. Provide advice on requirements and application of HR best practices and client policies.
  • Develop, implement, administer, and revise policies, procedures and systems related to the HR function, including HR administration, group benefits, wage and salary administration, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Manage and drive full service client projects from inception to completion.
  • Administer client FMLA, EEO, workers compensation, unemployment, and other functions.
  • Effectively and completely record and track documents, client activities, contacts, and deadlines such that other employees can locate and comprehend client incidents and issues.
  • Develop and maintains subject matter expertise in functional human resource topics.
  • Communicate and work effectively to improve team knowledge of the client.

What I will bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other related Human Capital Management filed of study. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP desired.
  • 2+ years of HR experience in a corporate company.
  • Knowledge regarding local, state, and federal employment law and accepted human resources practices.
  • Initiative, good judgment, and a high standard of professional business ethics.
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Able to field frequent interruptions from clients and co-workers and easily adapt to ambiguous situations.
  • Highly organized and work independently with moderate supervision.
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport with clients.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US, as we are unable to sponsor or transfer Visas at this time.
