Job Purpose:
This role provides administrative support to the human resources function in the areas of HRIS/compensation/benefits, staffing/employment, and administrative support to HR Director.
Job Duties:
Processes various forms related to documenting human resources activities such as new hire, change of status, performance evaluations, etc.
Helps conducts new hire orientations.
Prepares reports using HRIS based on headcount, recruitment, attrition, and other metrics.
Coordinates the onboarding process, including processing background checks, assembling new hire packages, conducting reference checks, and completing new hire orientation.
Manages job posting process and routes hiring requisitions for approval.
Works with agency partners to facilitate staffing.
Respects employee confidentiality and handles sensitive matters with tact and discretion.
Performs administrative duties for the Director of HR
Creates various excel reports
Education and Experience:
2- 4 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor's degree in HR or business
Working knowledge of HR law
Computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)
Ability to work independently
Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
