DRG is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, analytical, innovative inividual to join our dynamic growing team.
As an HR Business Partner (HRBP) you will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management for your assigned business units. This position serves as a consultant to the market’s Operations Leadership on human resource-related issues and acts as an employee champion and change agent. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. This position partners across the HR functions to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP also maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its mid-to-long range plans, culture, and competition.

What will you do?
· Consults with leaders, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
· Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
· Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
· Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed.
· Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) to enhance organizational effectiveness.
· Works closely with management and employees to improve working relationships, communication, employee engagement, and increase productivity and retention.
· Provides HR process and policy guidance and interpretation.
· Ability to collaborate and partner with various HR functional teams (Comp & Benefits, Recruiting, etc..) and other departments (payroll, accounting, etc.) in order to meet the various needs of the organization.
· Provides guidance on business unit restructures, workforce planning & succession planning.
· Assists in driving various HR initiatives: performance management, goal setting, merit review process, and manager and associate career development.
· Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
Are you qualified?
· 5+ years of proven work experience as an HR Business Partner in the QSR or Hospitality segment required.
· Well versed in California employment/labor law preferred.
· Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices.
· Excellent people management skills.
· Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) is a plus.
· Demonstrated ability to coach, develop and lead in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team-oriented environment and work with both internal and external customers.
· Negotiation, project management and change management skills.
· Strong business acumen.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, Workday or similar HRIS / HCM platform.
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, related business field or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
· SHRM SPHR / PHR Preferred.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
