Purpose:

Endura has an immediate opening for an HR Business Partner in our Colfax, NC Manufacturing Facility. As a key member of the Human Resource team, this position acts as the main point of contact for division employees and leadership. The successful candidate will work on-site with our Sills and Engineered Components division leadership team to anticipate the needs of the organization and execute HR programs.

Essential Functions:

  • Understands HRBP team strategy and how it aligns with overall organizational and talent strategy; actively aligns service delivery approach
  • Deals with complex or sensitive day to day people management issues and provides general assistance and support to employees. Responds to employee requests for information and questions.
  • Supports, develops, and coaches managers and supervisors to manage employee relations issues using Endura policies, procedures, and best practice, ideally resolving issues where possible.
  • Builds strong working relationships and credibility with assigned operating divisions and business areas through open communications, visibility, and trust-building behaviors
  • Supports the delivery of HR Processes to the business and builds a strong business relationship with their internal partners, actively identifies gaps, proposes and implements changes necessary to cover risks.
  • Supports organizational change initiatives, modeling effective change leadership practices
  • Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management.
  • Maintains confidentiality of financial information, insurance and litigation documents, employee information (e.g., wage information, discipline, health information) and other sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ensures the organization is compliant with all applicable Federal/State/Local Laws.
  • Participates as a member of the HRBP team and learning cohort by sharing beneficial HR practices and techniques, ensuring consistency in approach, and covering absences as necessary
  • Contributes to and/or manages assigned projects and programs
  • Performs related duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Experience collaboratively driving projects with cross-functional teams
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience involving employee engagement in a manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with employment laws, etc.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred
