Human Resources Coordinator

Role Description: Human Resources Coordinator
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Include:
· Reports to Human Resources Manager
· Assist Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Administrator
· Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements
· Maintain company Census
· Keeping Labor Law posters up to date
· Keeps employee records up-to-date by processing employee status change in timely manner
· Assists in hiring process by coordinating job postings on career websites and performing reference checks
· Assemble and prepare new employee and orientation packets
· Process worker’s compensation and accident claims with insurance companies
· Tracks and records employee vacation and sick time
· Send out Company-wide emails on Sales Vacation
· Maintains and updates insurance information for employees
· Enroll, update and terminate employee’s Company benefits
· Maintains various HR spreadsheet files
· Reception coverage
· Assist with annual Open Enrollment for the Company
· Maintain Office and Sales Directories
· Maintain and track Open positions list
· Maintain New Hires and Termination list
· Provide Sexual Harassment Training & Company policy for new hires
· Maintain Sexual Harassment Certifications
· Maintain and update employee Emergency Information sheets
· Maintain I-9’s
· Contact candidates directly and work with recruiters to set up interviews
· Arrange and interviews all levels of candidates with management
· Follow up with candidates and recruiters after interviews on status and next steps
· Book meetings for Human Resource matters
· Maintain and handle employee’s deduction payments while out on leave
· Order baskets and arrangements for employees
Other duties may be assigned as required

Requirements:
· Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience with recruiting and interviewing
· Must have strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in fast-paced environment
· Recognizes when to escalate matters to management
· Ability to adhere to and meet deadlines
· Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required
· Reliable, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance
· Must be extremely confidential
