The Prince George's County Government Office Human Rights is seeking a qualified applicant to fill a Human Trafficking Division Manager position, grade G-29.
The incumbent in this position is considered an "Essential" employee and may be required to report for work during natural/manmade disasters and during special operations as assigned. "Essential" employees are expected to report or remain at work when other County employees are granted Administrative Leave.
- Coordinates, organizes, and manages the division general operations, including administrative duties.
- Manages and evaluates the development, implementation, and coordination of administrative policies, protocols, and strategies in addressing human trafficking within the County.
- Oversees the planning, development, and implementation of all marketing, communications, education, and public
relations activities associated with the program. - Drafts terms and scope of work for inter-governmental agreements and memorandums of understanding, to include vendor services.
- Facilitate a coordinated data collection response for all human trafficking County stakeholders, to include identification, tracking, sharing, and analysis of data.
- Researches, collects data, and prepares data and statistical reports.
- Oversees the membership of the collaborative body of organizations that provide support in identifying and serving victims of human trafficking and prosecuting of human traffickers.
- Willingly and cooperatively performs tasks and duties which may not be specifically listed in the class specification or position description but which are within the general occupational category and responsibility level typically associated with the employee's class of work.

What You'll Need:
Master's Degree in public or business administration, or related field
Plus, two (2) years of responsible experience in a Human Trafficking division; or equivalent combination of education and experience. or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualification:
- Considerable knowledge of the principles and methods of public administration and local government.
- Considerable knowledge of management practices and administrative and legislative processes.
- Considerable knowledge of the functional area to which assigned.
- Considerable knowledge of program development, implementation, management techniques, and evaluation concepts.
- Ability to prepare, interpret and evaluate proposals and modifications.
- Ability to coordinate a diverse range of assignments.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective professional work relationships with County officials, representatives, and the general public.
- Work is evaluated through effective program administration including projects, ongoing and collaborative events and trainings, completed reports, positive engagement with all stakeholders, and overall progress towards the program's goals and objectives.
